The Scandinavian fisherman settled this are in 1892 it is known as "Little Norway" due to its fjord cut landscape similar to their home in Norway.  It has kept it strong heritage today. Enjoy European bakeries and eateries, waffle cones, smoked salmon.

A large main street allows for a full weekend of shopping. A downtown marina makes it a favorite of the east Puget Sound boaters to come over. Poulsbo is growing into a tourist destination with the Suquamish Indians casino, hotel and convention center.
